The Batman Double Feature transforms Riverview Theater on November 20 into an unconventional cinematic experience. I paired Tim Burton's "Batman Returns" (1992) with Joel Schumacher's "Batman & Robin" (1997) to create a striking contrast. This project allowed me to reimagine movie marketing through Dadaist, Absurdist, and Constructivist influences.
I created a disruptive design system spanning custom movie posters that subvert superhero visual tropes. The promotional campaign includes experimental print and digital advertisements with fractured hand-done collage work. I also designed branded packaging featuring unconventional Batman iconography to complete the experience.
The deliberately unhinged visual approach mirrors the contrasting film styles while incorporating my personal artistic sensibility. This campaign demonstrates how familiar cultural touchstones can be transformed into fresh visual experiences through unexpected design choices across multiple applications.
